Spa Factory Bali™ Ranges:

Can I order Spa Factory Bali™ samples?
Yes, We do not offer samples from the Spa Factory Bali™ range, however you can buy any retail product as an individual item to try. There is an order form available online in either the Spa Factory Bali™ Product Range section or from the All Order Forms or All Samples page in the Shortcuts section.

Can anybody order Spa Factory Bali™ retail and bulk products?
Yes, anybody can order products from the Spa Factory Bali™ range. We are opening up distribution in many countries for 2005. If you live in one of the countries where we have distribution (see the Distribution Page in the General Information Section) you will find it easier and more cost effective to buy locally.

Are there minimum orders for buying Spa Factory Bali™ products?
No, all Spa Factory Bali™ range products are "off the shelf" so unlike private label you can buy both samples and wholesale ProBulk product one by one.

Can I create my own menu from your ProPack or ProBulk ranges?
Yes, you can order any individual product from our treatment menus to create your own ritual. You can also feel free to combine products you are currently using with SFB treatment formulations to create something unique.

Can I order just one sample item from a Treatment Menu Sample Box?
No, all treatment menu samples come packed as a complete ritual so you can replicate the total experience. You must order the complete set. It is possible, however, to order an individual ProPack or HomeSpa product from the Spa Factory Bali™ range. The prices are available in the Excel Sample Order Form which can be downloaded from the Order Forms Page of the Shortcuts Section.

Private Label:

How do I begin the process of creating my own private label?
The first step is to choose a packaging / product combination from our Retail, Gift Set or Hotel Private Label Pages in our Private Label Section online. When you have some idea of what you want, send us your logo by email. We can accept emailed files as a jpg or gif. We use Apple OS X and can also accept files in Illustrator, Freehand or Photoshop on CD. Within a few days we will reply with a photo mock-up of how your private label will look. This service is free of charge.

What if I don't have a logo?
We can create a logo for you that suit's the technical specification of your packaging and application to any part of your business. We will provide the logo on CD for you to use along with a letter stating your right to ownership of the logo. The cost for developing the logo is USD $500 (five hundred) to be paid in advance.

What if I want label copy in a language other than English?
We can produce labeling in any language. The process is: we will provide you with all the label copy in English (ingredients in Latin) for you to translate. If it is written using Latin letters we can lay it out for you and send it back for your approval. If you are using Cyrillic, Arabic, Kanji or any other letter form, we will send you the label format in Illustrator, Freehand or Photoshop on CD for you to design in your country. You can send it back to us with the copy converted so we don't have any problems with fonts or different margin settings.

Can I buy the packaging only?
No, we only sell complete, turn-key products. All packaging is created exclusively for the SFB formulations of your choice. Every product we make is sent completely built-up and will not be sold in parts. The only exception would be refillable containers found in our Private Label Page. You can buy these without product and fill them with your own bulk.

Where can I found examples of finished private label designs?
In the Private Label Section you will find the Gallery Page. On this page you can find many examples of designs that have been commissioned by other clients.

Can I use the same designs and patterns as the ones shown in the gallery?
No, every private label must be unique. We can create a design in the spirit of one shown in the gallery, but we will never duplicate a design created for another client.

What do the prices online include?
The prices online are completely modular so you can choose the packaging type, size and product you are interested in. calculate the component prices and you will have a good idea of how much the completely finished, turn-key product will cost. These prices are ex-Bali and do not include shipping, handling or customs charges. All prices posted on line are subject to change without advance notice. They are there to help you budget your private label product prior to specific request and invoice from Spa Factory Bali™ administration.

What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 50 pieces of one item. For example: if you order massage oil in 5 different scents, you can't get 10 pieces of each scent. You must order 50 bottles of one scent. Products are packaged in cases of 10.
How long does it take to process an order?
We usually allow 4 to 6 weeks to process a standard private label order. The production process begins after the designs have been approved, an invoice issued and down payment received.

What are the payment terms for private label?
To initiate an order we must receive a 50% down payment on the price of the order. The balance will be paid upon completion of the order. Shipping is additional. If you want Spa Factory Bali™ to arrange shipping, you will find all information pertaining to shipping options and other logistics on the Shipping Page in the in the General Information Section. This would be a separate invoice or attached to the balance of payment for the products to be paid before leaving Bali.

Are gift sets handled the same way as private label?
Yes, Gift Sets are an extension of private label packaging. This is a way you can group the retail products you have created in different gift configurations. All the same rules apply to ordering Gift Sets.

Can I order just the gift box only?
No, we have specific configurations shown online where the product is integral part of the box design. We do not sell outer boxes separately.

Can I make substitutions with the configurations shown online?
Yes, it is possible to configure as you like, provided the containers remain as shown. All the options for various tubes and bottles used in the gift sets are shown online with the boxes.

What if I want to use some of my own products, along with yours, in a gift set?
That would be possible in certain formats. Loose Fit gift packaging could accommodate items not supplied by Spa Factory Bali™. We would consider the inclusion of any item not available from our stock. We absolutely do not recommend including any items that must be shipped into Indonesia. Custom duties are highly unpredictable any product that has been shipped to Indonesia can not be returned without first having all duties paid.

What if I have my own idea for a gift set using your private label packaging?
OK, it is possible. We will do the R&D if the idea is workable and we can incorporate it into our current standard range. If you want the packaging to be exclusive we will charge a fee for developing it, and will not reproduce it for any other customer. The development could also take longer than the time required for an existing gift set design.

Can I order actual samples of my private label designs?
Yes, you can order samples of your design. These will be hand made, one off samples. Labels will be based on computer print out. We can place ingredients in certain packaging or provide it in a separate, more secure packaging so as not to damage the delicate labels. The price for this service is five times the listed wholesale prices shown online. Under no circumstances will we send an already produced private label design created for another client.

Product Formulation:

What is the difference between Fragrant and Essential Oil?
Easily stated, fragrant oil is synthetic and essential oil is natural. Essential oil is often associated with an aromatherapy benefit, thought to be effective for controlling moods and general health. Most scented personal care and bath products use fragrant oil. Fragrant oil is also considered safe for allergies because it is synthetic. Not all scents are available in essential oil, such as: coconut, vanilla and fruit flavors. It is possible to mix combinations of essential oil and fragrant oil in the same product. Essential oil is almost always more expensive than fragrant oil. We also feature extracts and infusions in many of our formulations. These usually have both a scent and active ingredient bennifit.

Explain more about the Tea Bases?
Tea formulations contain natural tea infusions. In water based products we actually use brewed tea and then distill it for blending. Oils are infused with tea essence. Tea is known to have anti-oxidant properties and there is a slightly different texture to the finished products. The color produced by the tea infusions is natural and ranges from light green to tan to brown, depending on the blend. We use both black and green tea in certain of our treatment ranges

Hotel Services:

Do you serve villas & guesthouses?
Yes, absolutely. We have many innovative solutions for smaller establishments. Our refillable packaging is upscale, cost effective and produced in very low minimum quantities.

Can I order only the refillable packaging without buying bulk from SFB?
We prefer to always offer the product with the service. The product containers can be sold in small quantities and we expect to also supply the bulk used to fill the containers. Should the containers break or be taken by the guests, we would only replace based on our agreement to supply ongoing bulk for refills.

Can you create a bracket to suit a specific shape space or design motif?
Yes, we specialize in custom applications. If you require a unique application we can work with you to develop a solution to the problem. We work with many materials and one off fabrication of samples is possible in Bali. Be aware that this can be time consuming work, so don't consider this direction of you have a tight deadline.

General Questions:

What currency do you charge in?
For all international orders we charge in US Dollars, which is the currency we use for pricing online and in our order forms. If you do not have access to the conversion rate from USD to your local currency we suggest you check http://www.oanda.com/ - there you will find the daily rate for all traded currencies. If you are buying from us locally in Indonesia we can offer you prices in Indonesian Rupiah. We have bank accounts in and can accept payment in USD, EUR and IDR.
